Abington swears in two new police officers

Two new police officers officially joined the ranks of the Abington Township Police Department during the recent Abington Township Board of Commissioners meeting.

Officer Oleh Manzyk, who was born in Lviv, Ukraine, and now lives in Feasterville, is among the department’s newest hires. He is a graduate of Neshaminy High School and University of New Hampshire.

Also sworn in was Officer Austin Stoudt, a Sellersville native who currently resides in Quakertown. He attended Quakertown Community High School and graduated from West Chester University.

Township officials welcomed both officers during the meeting, marking the start of their service in Abington.

Leaders and community officials expressed support for the new officers, wishing them safety and success as they begin their careers protecting and serving the township.
