School teacher identified in Abington Target bathroom investigation

Naphis White Glover, who works at A.L. Fitzpatrick School in Northeast Philadelphia, is facing multiple charges including invasion of privacy and harassment

A man accused of peering into restroom stalls at a Target store in Montgomery County has been identified as a Philadelphia school teacher, a development that has drawn heightened concern from both local residents and the school community, according to reports.

Authorities say Naphis White Glover, who works at A.L. Fitzpatrick School in Northeast Philadelphia, is facing multiple charges including invasion of privacy and harassment. School district officials confirmed his employment, and the school’s principal said he has been reassigned pending the outcome of the investigation.

The allegations stem from incidents reported at the Target store on Old York Road in Abington Township. Police say the incidents occurred in December 2025 and again on January 10, 2026, when Glover was allegedly seen looking over the tops of occupied restroom stalls. One of the reported incidents involved a 17-year-old.

Witnesses alerted store employees after observing the suspicious behavior. Target’s loss prevention team reviewed surveillance footage and identified Glover. When he later returned to the store, staff contacted police.

Abington Township Deputy Police Chief Ed Quinn said investigators have evidence supporting the allegations.

“In both cases, the victims reported that the suspect was trying to view them while in the stall,” Quinn said, noting the potential emotional impact such incidents can have.

Police say Glover is not currently in custody but is expected to appear in court. Authorities have not determined a motive and say it remains unclear whether any photos or videos were taken.

The investigation is ongoing, and Abington Township Police are asking anyone with additional information to come forward.
