The Montgomery County Hero Fund will host its fifth annual MontCo Heroes Festival at the Lower Providence Fire Company Fair Grounds, 3199 Ridge Pike, on May 16 from 2 to 9 p.m, featuring live music, food, beverages and family fun.
The 2026 festival is being dubbed the biggest ever with more star power, additional food and beverage vendors and added children’s activities. It will also be easier to access with the launch of the Hero Fund’s newly redesigned website, which offers streamlined ticket purchasing, sponsorship information and updates, said a Montgomery County Hero Fund press release.
The event will feature live performances from Bonehead, The Brian Quinn Band and Rustic Revival. Beyond the stage, festivalgoers can enjoy an amateur BBQ competition and tasting, beer, wine and spirits, a children’s play area, a donut sale and a truck and jeep rally.
Tickets are $40 per person, covering concert access, unlimited fair food, beer, and BBQ tasting (while supplies last). Wine and spirits are not included. Tickets to the truck & jeep rally are $40 per person, covering a vehicle pass and entrance to the festival. Tickets and full event details are available at Montco Heroes Festival Tickets.
Net proceeds from the festival will directly benefit the Montgomery County Hero Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2012 by Sharon and Sean E. Cullen following the tragic loss of Officer Brad Fox of the Plymouth Township Police Department and United States Marine Corps (Ret.). The Fund provides immediate and ongoing relief and services to law enforcement officers, military personnel, firefighters, paramedics, and first responders — or their loved ones — who experience tragedy in the line of duty in service to Montgomery County, said the release.
“Whether they’re serving overseas or answering emergency calls here at home, our first responders embody courage and sacrifice,” said Sean Cullen. “This festival is our way of honoring that commitment and ensuring their families are supported when it matters most.”
Sponsorships and volunteer opportunities are currently available. Community members and businesses are encouraged to participate and show their support.
