Second Alarmers Rescue Squad ambulance involved in crash in Abington Township, according to report

Second Alarmers Rescue Squad was involved in a traffic accident Wednesday night at the intersection of Huntingdon Pike and Susquehanna Road in Abington Township, according to reports.

The crash was reported at approximately 7:16 p.m. and involved a Second Alarmers Rescue Squad ambulance and another passenger vehicle.

A separate Second Alarmers Rescue Squad ambulance was dispatched to the scene to provide medical assistance to the occupants of the other vehicle. The extent of any injuries has not yet been determined.

This marks the second incident involving a Second Alarmers Rescue Squad ambulance on Wednesday. Earlier in the day, another ambulance from the organization was involved in a separate pedestrian crash in Upper Dublin Township.

Emergency crews remained on scene as police investigated the circumstances surrounding the collision.
