Abington Township is offering their residents the opportunity to responsibly recycle obsolete electronics.
The recycling event will be held on Saturday. Feb. 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Public Works Highway Yard, located at 2201 Florey Lane in Abington.
The township is partnering with eForce Compliance for this event. This service is available to residents of Abington Township ONLY.
The township is advising its residents that there is a fee for TVs and computer monitors. PECO will cover the $10 recycling fee per unit for any room air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and mini fridges.
Residents are asked to bring their PECO account number or copy of your bill to have the fee waived.
Registration is required and can be done so here.
