One Willow Grove man awaits sentencing after being convicted of felony charges of possessing child pornography.

Jordan Alexander Medina, 21, of the 2500 block of Veser Lane in the Willow Grove section of Upper Moreland Township, pleaded guilty in Montgomery County Courts to the charges of possession of child pornography, criminal use of a communication facility, and possession of an instrument of crime, according to a Sept. 23 report by Carl Hessler Jr.

All charges stem from a summer 2022 incident in which Medina, now free on bail until his sentencing hearing, when a “CyberTip” from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children was provided to Montgomery County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Hessler wrote.

Medina store the inappropriate images of underage children on his personal phone, admitting he was “curious and stupid” for doing so, said reports. According to the report, he will also undergo court-appointed assessments to determine if he is a sexually violent offender, prior to his sentencing.
