A late-night shooting incident brought emergency responders to a grocery store in Wyncote on Sunday.
Around 10:29 p.m. on March 29, police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Cheltenham Avenue in Cheltenham Township, at the ShopRite location, after reports of a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
According to Montgomery County dispatch, the situation unfolded when a male entered the store and told people inside that he had been shot. A caller to 911 reported that the victim had “a hole in his stomach,” indicating a serious injury.
Emergency crews from Cheltenham Township EMS quickly arrived on scene to provide medical assistance.
