Emergency crews rushed to the scene of a vehicle accident in Cheltenham Township late Monday afternoon, where a driver was reportedly trapped inside a damaged car, according to reports.
The incident occurred around 5:21 p.m. near the intersection of East Church Road and Jenkintown Road. Initial reports indicate the crash involved two vehicles, a truck and a sedan.
A witness at the scene said a female was trapped inside one of the vehicles following the collision, prompting a rescue response.
Crews from the Cheltenham Fire Company and Cheltenham Township Emergency Medical Service responded to the scene to assist.
