Residents of Abington Township can now enjoy complimentary access to premium digital content from The New York Times.
Library officials announced that cardholders can receive unlimited digital access for 72 hours at a time, including News, Games, Cooking, Wirecutter and The Athletic. Access is available on computers and mobile devices, including through the NYT app.
First-Time Users:
Residents should visit the library’s e-resource page and tap the “Visit E-Resource” button to redeem a 72-hour digital access code. Users will then follow the prompts to create a New York Times account with a preferred username and password. Those who already have a New York Times digital account can use their existing login when redeeming the code.
Returning Users:
After the initial 72-hour period expires, users can return to the e-resource page, tap “Visit E-Resource,” and select “Redeem” to activate another 72-hour access period.
Library officials encourage residents to take advantage of the new offering to stay informed and explore the wide range of digital content available.
