Emergency crews responded to a serious crash Tuesday evening near the Willow Grove exit along the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
The accident occurred around 8:16 p.m. on March 3, when a vehicle overturned near the ramp in the area of the Willow Grove exit. According to initial reports, one sedan flipped onto its roof, trapping the driver inside.
Witnesses at the scene said several motorists pulled over after the crash in an attempt to help the trapped driver before first responders arrived.
No further information about injuries or the cause of the crash has been released at this time.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible while crews continue their response and investigation.
