Emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of Easton Road and Woodland Road in Abington Township following a vehicle accident Thursday afternoon.
The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. According to initial reports, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to flip onto its side.
Witnesses at the scene reported that the driver was trapped inside the vehicle following the crash. Emergency responders from the Second Alarmers Rescue Squad arrived to assist.
The extent of the driver’s injuries is unknown at this time.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Avoid the area of Easton Road and Woodland Road if possible.
