Upper Moreland Township officials have said the snow emergency will remain in effect until 5 p.m. Monday, as cleanup efforts continue following the winter storm.
During the snow emergency, parking is prohibited on all designated snow emergency routes to allow Public Works crews to safely clear roadways. Township officials are urging residents with driveways to park off-street whenever possible. If on-street parking is necessary, residents are asked to park on the side of the street with even-numbered addresses.
Property owners are reminded that sidewalks must be cleared within 48 hours after snowfall or icy conditions have ended. Officials also emphasized that snow and ice should not be shoveled or dumped into public streets, as doing so creates safety hazards and slows cleanup operations.
Residents are encouraged to help emergency responders by clearing snow around fire hydrants to keep them visible and accessible. The following streets have been designated as emergency routes:
- Bensal Road (from Exton Road to Newton Road)
- Blair Mill Road (from Welsh Road to County Line Road)
- Brook Street (from York Road to the PW Yard)
- Byberry Road (from Pioneer Road to Warminster Road)
- Centennial Road (from Pioneer Road to County Line Road)
- Center Avenue (from Moreland Avenue to York Road)
- County Line Road (from Blair Mill Road to UMT border)
- County Line Road (from Warminster Road to Short (UMT border)
- Davisville Road (from Moreland Road to County Line Road)
- Division Avenue (from Moreland Road to Greyhorse Road)
- Easton Road (from Blair Mill Road to Moreland)
- Edgehill Road (from Moreland Road to Huntingdon Road)
- Exton Road (from Davisville Road to Bensal Road)
- Fitzwatertown Road (from Moreland Road to York Road)
- Greyhorse Road (from Division Avenue to Terwood Road)
- Horsham Road (from Blair Mill Road to Castello Avenue (UMT border)
