Emergency responders were dispatched to a house fire in the 100 block of Yew Road in Cheltenham Township on Thursday afternoon.
The fire was reported around 12:37 p.m., when a caller told authorities that her kitchen was burning. Responders arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the home, with the kitchen "fully engulfed" in flames.
Residents were advised to evacuate the home immediately. Cheltenham Township Emergency Services responded to the scene and worked to control the fire.
