Second sexual assault reported in Upper Dublin, according to police

The cases are unrelated, according to detectives

The Upper Dublin Police Department, working with the Montgomery County Office of the District Attorney, has concluded two unrelated sexual assault investigations with guilty pleas entered last week in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. Sentencing for both defendants will occur at a later date.

The first case involved Khyree Carter-Conix, of Philadelphia, that Fideri News Network reported on last week. The second case announced involves Richard Anthony Rodriguez, of Whittier, Calif.

"These two convictions, which resulted in guilty pleas, reflect the expertise and commitment of our detectives," said Upper Dublin Police Chief Francis Wheatley. "[Detectives Michael Scarpato and Kyle Gallen's] professionalism and persistence to support those impacted by these crimes demonstrates our department's unwavering focus on accountability, public safety, and justice".

Police revealed some details of the cases:


Case 1

Khyree Carter-Conix, of Philadelphia

Carter-Conix pled guilty on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, following an investigation into the sexual assault of a juvenile. The case originated on Dec. 13, 2024, when Upper Dublin Police received information regarding the assault of a minor.

The investigation determined that the defendant met the juvenile victim while working as a delivery driver. 

The investigation was conducted with assistance from Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center, Lower Gwynedd Township Police Department, Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth, Springfield Township Police Department (Montgomery County), and the Montgomery County Office of the District Attorney.

Carter-Conix pled guilty to the following charges: Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Corruption of Minors (two counts), and Indecent Assault.


Case 2

Richard Anthony Rodriguez, of Whittier, Calif.

Rodriguez pled guilty on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, following an investigation into the aggravated indecent assault of an adult. Upper Dublin Police received a report on Nov. 1, 2024, from a victim who reported unwanted and unsolicited sexual contact by a known associate.

Rodriguez pled guilty to the following charges: Sexual Assault (two counts), Aggravated Indecent Assault (two counts), and Indecent Assault (two counts).
