A house fire broke out at 89 Steele Way in Lower Moreland Township, with flames originating in the attic of the residence.
The incident was reported around 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Heavy smoke was reported at the scene as the fire spread through the upper portion of the home. All occupants were able to safely evacuate the house, and no injuries were reported.
Second Alarmers Rescue Squad arrived on scene first and began assisting with the emergency response until additional fire crews arrived. Firefighters worked to control the blaze and ventilate the home.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
