Asplundh Infrastructure Group has promoted Dennis MacAleese to chief operating officer, expanding his role as the company continues to grow its infrastructure-related services, the company announced.
MacAleese, who joined Asplundh Infrastructure Group in 2024 as executive vice president, will continue to oversee construction operations while also taking on responsibility for Asplundh Engineering Services. He will continue reporting to Brent Asplundh, president of Asplundh Infrastructure Group.
Before joining AIG, MacAleese brought more than 25 years of experience in the utilities and energy sectors. His previous roles included executive vice president of Western Operations at MasTec, as well as senior leadership positions at Primoris Services Corporation and Pacific Gas & Electric. Throughout his career, he has led large organizations through periods of growth and change, with a focus on operational efficiency, safety and customer service.
Company leaders said MacAleese has played a key role in strengthening AIG’s construction business and supporting its effort to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions across multiple service areas.
Brent Asplundh said the move reflects the company’s continued expansion in construction, engineering, roadway lighting and intelligent traffic systems, noting that MacAleese’s experience positions him well to lead teams as market demands evolve.
