Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon at the Wyncote Apartments in Cheltenham Township.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 3:37 p.m. at the apartment complex located at 8460 Limekiln Pike, near the intersection of Route 309 and Greenwood Avenue. According to initial reports, the incident occurred in Building 1 on the third floor, where one adult male reportedly shot another adult male.
Second Alarmers Rescue Squad and Cheltenham Township Emergency Service were dispatched to assist at the scene.
As of Sunday evening, authorities had not released information on the condition of the victim or whether any injuries were sustained. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
