The Abington Township Police Department executed a search warrant Feb. 16, 2026, at a residence in the Ardsley section of Abington Township as part of an investigation into the suspected download of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Following the search and subsequent investigation, detectives allege that 18-year-old Ian Garra, of Glenside, downloaded and possessed thousands of images and videos depicting CSAM.
According to the criminal complaint, images and videos were uploaded to the app Discord.
Garra was taken into custody and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Todd N. Barnes, who denied bail.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing.

All charges are allegations. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 25, at 10:30 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Juanita A. Price.
