Abington Township Police have arrested two juveniles in connection with a series of overnight thefts from vehicles and vehicle thefts reported across several neighborhoods late last year.

Between Nov. 9 and Dec. 31, 2025, residents in Huntingdon Valley, Elkins Park and Roslyn reported multiple incidents in which vehicles were entered or stolen while parked outside homes during overnight hours.

Following an investigation, police identified and arrested two juvenile suspects. Authorities say the investigation not only cleared multiple cases within Abington Township, but also helped solve related incidents in other Montgomery County communities through cooperation with partner police departments.

As part of the coordinated effort, four stolen vehicles were recovered.

Abington Township Police thanked both the community and fellow law enforcement agencies for their assistance.

Police are reminding residents to take precautions to prevent theft, including locking vehicles, removing valuables and key fobs, and using exterior lighting or security cameras when available. Residents are also encouraged to report suspicious activity promptly to help officers respond quickly and keep neighborhoods safe.
