The principal of Abington Senior High School has been placed on administrative leave as the district investigates allegations involving inappropriate social media posts.
Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey S. Fecher announced that Dr. Alice Swift was placed on leave effective Feb. 12, 2026. According to reporting from NBC 10, the district received allegations of antisemitic content related to her social media activity. Assistant Principal Ronald Brison will assume leadership duties.
Dr. Fecher sent the following notice out to the district:
I am writing to inform you that, effective February 12, 2026, Dr. Alice Swift has been placed on administrative leave. The District received allegations of inappropriate social media posts and is investigating the matter.
During this time, Mr. Ronald Brison, Assistant Principal, will provide leadership and support at the high school to ensure continuity of operations and a stable learning environment for students.
We understand that any change in school leadership, even if temporary, can raise concerns, and we appreciate your patience and partnership as we navigate this situation. We will share additional updates regarding Dr. Swift’s return as more information becomes available.
