Reclectic, the outlet store offering discounted merchandise from popular URBN brands, is leaving its Northeast Philadelphia location at Franklin Mall and will relocate to the Willow Grove Mall, according to a report.
URBN, the parent company of Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, and Nuuly, announced the shop will relocate to a larger 44,000-square-foot space at Willow Grove Park Mall.
Reclectic is scheduled to close its Philadelphia location on Saturday, Feb. 21, ahead of the move, and reopen at Willow Grove Park Mall on Friday, Feb. 27, with a grand opening at 11 a.m.
According to the company, the move will provide “more selling capacity to meet the continuing demand for Reclectic’s merchandise.”
The store, which has been at Franklin Mall since 2023, sells a mix of new and gently used clothing and accessories from URBN brands, attracting bargain hunters and brand loyalists alike.
The timing of the move coincides with changes at Franklin Mall, which has struggled to maintain tenants in recent years. The shopping center, now only 68% occupied, was listed for sale in December as a potential site for industrial redevelopment and has lost major anchors such as AMC Theatres and Sam Ash.
With the relocation, Reclectic will gain a larger footprint in a more trafficked mall, while Franklin Mall continues to navigate the challenges facing older retail spaces.
