Police are warning residents about a popular high school game that is leading to increased calls about suspicious activity across the township.
The Upper Dublin Police Department says it is aware that some high school seniors are participating in “Senior Assassin,” a game in which students try to “eliminate” one another using water guns.
While often seen as a tradition among graduating seniors, authorities say the activity has raised concerns in local neighborhoods. Reports have included individuals moving stealthily through residential areas, hiding, and attempting to surprise other players, behavior that can appear suspicious to residents.
Police say they have already received multiple calls from community members reporting unusual or suspicious behavior tied to the game.
Officials caution that while the game may seem harmless, it can create unnecessary panic and potentially dangerous situations.
The department says it does not condone the activity due to the risks involved, but is offering guidance for those who still choose to participate.
