Pennypacker Mills proudly announces its annual Revolutionary War Weekend, an immersive two‑day living history event that brings the struggle for American independence to life. Visitors of all ages are invited to step back into the 18th century and witness the sights, sounds, and drama of the Revolutionary War right on the historic grounds of the Pennypacker family estate.
During this year of the American semiquincentennial, the event has expanded and will feature both Continental and British forces, portraying the daily life of soldiers and camp followers, tactical drills, and the intense clash of armies seeking victory. Guests can explore military encampments, speak with reenactors, and learn firsthand about the experiences of those who fought during this pivotal era.
Live Battle Each Day
A highlight of the weekend will be a battle reenactment held on both Saturday and Sunday. Visitors will feel the thunder of musket fire and experience the strategies of 18th‑century warfare as Continental and Crown forces engage across the field.
