A four-vehicle crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike caused significant delays during the Monday morning commute near the Willow Grove exit, according to reports.
The accident occurred around 6:28 a.m. near the Heaton Road access gate and the ramp connecting I-276 eastbound to Route 1.
Authorities reported that two lanes were blocked following the crash, leaving only one lane open to traffic and creating heavy congestion in the area.
At least one of the vehicles rolled over during the accident. Injuries have been reported, but the extent of those injuries are unknown at this time.
Drivers experienced major delays, with trips that typically take about 20 minutes stretching to roughly an hour and a half.
