Families in the Upper Dublin School District will have a convenient opportunity to get vaccinated this fall, thanks to a partnership between Eric’s RX Shoppe Pharmacy and the district.
A community vaccine clinic will be held in the Upper Dublin High School cafeteria on Monday, Oct. 6, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event is open to both students and community members, with several types of vaccines available
- Flu Vaccine for ages 3–64
- High-Dose Flu Vaccine for ages 65+
- SpikeVax by Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine for ages 3–11
- mNEXSPIKE by Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine for ages 12+
Organizers recommend that families pre-register online to ensure availability and streamline the process. A link for registration has been shared by the school district.
In addition to flu protection, this year’s updated COVID-19 vaccines are expected to help reduce severe illness and hospitalizations, especially as health officials anticipate another seasonal surge. Local healthcare providers encourage residents, particularly children, older adults, and those with underlying health conditions, to take advantage of community-based vaccine clinics.
