There is so much to celebrate in the Fall and this week is chock-full of fun events.


First of all, there is so much live music to enjoy. Emanuel Ax will be playing with the Philadelphia Orchestra and Jamey’s House of Music in Lansdown will be jamming too with a film about the Philadelphia music scene.


Hard rock legends Slaughter will also be in the region playing at the Keswick Theater, while William Parquette will be stopping by Gypsy Blu in Ambler.


If you are looking for some last-minute Halloween fun, you and your kids can enjoy Trick-or Treat & Create (age 6 & under) at The Playground in Schwenksville.


The kids will also enjoy the I Want My Mummy! Special educational event at the Blue Bell Branch Wissahickon Valley Public Library.


And if you are already anticipating Turkey Day this year, then you won’t want to miss Sip. See & Shop Tour – A Pre-Thanksgiving Shopping Experience at the Willow Grove Shopping Center.


Another fall favorite is the Apple Festival at Peddler’s Village in Central Bucks County.

Thursday, October 3 through Sunday, Nov. 2, 7:30 p.m., Emanuel Ax will be celebrating his career with the Philadelphia Orchestra at the Marian Anderson Hall.


He will be playing Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto as part of the celebration.

Slaughter at Keswick Theatre

Vinyl Revival Movie Night at Jamey’s House of Music


On Thursday, Oct. 30, 7:00 p.m., Jamey Reilly of Jamey’s House of music and Andrea DiFabio of Vinyl Revival will be teaming up for a special movie night at Jamey’s House of Music.


On the screen will be “The Wages of Spin,” a film about the Philadelphia music scene from 1952 through 1963.

Apple Festival at Peddler’s Village


On Saturday, Nov. 1 and Sunday, Nov. 2, Peddler’s Village in Lahaska will be celebrating its annual Apple Festival.


The festival weekend has been celebrating apple season in Bucks County since 1973. There will be plenty of family-friendly fun, including live entertainment, games and delicious food and drink.
