Community panel to discuss youth mental health and wellness at Penn State Abington

he Abington Community Taskforce, in partnership with CAPT and Penn State Abington, will host a panel discussion titled “Mental Health & Wellness 101: Supporting Youth and Young Adults” on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at Penn State Abington’s Sutherland Auditorium, located at 1600 Woodland Road, Abington.

The event, designed for individuals ages 12 and up, will feature a Resource Fair and Networking session from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Q&A Panel Discussion from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

The discussion will focus on mental health and wellness among youth and young adults in the local community. Topics will include how to identify signs of distress, ways to support healthy mindsets, guidance on responding during mental health crises, and information about social-emotional resources available locally.
