The Upper Dublin Township Police Department will host “Faith & Blue,” a special community gathering designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement, local faith leaders, and residents, on Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Shanis Auditorium at the Upper Dublin Public Library.

The evening will feature remarks from multi-denominational speakers, members of the Upper Dublin Police Department Chaplain Program, and law enforcement representatives. The event will also include an honor guard presentation and traditional bagpipe performances, followed by light refreshments.

“We are proud to participate in the annual nationwide ‘Faith & Blue’ weekend, which is focused on building bridges through faith and service,” said Chief Francis Wheatley. “This event is an opportunity to stand together in unity and give back to our community.”

As part of the initiative, the department is also sponsoring a food drive to benefit the Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard in Ambler. Donations of non-perishable hearty canned soups will be accepted. A collection box will be located in the library vestibule.

The event is free and open to the public, and all community members are encouraged to attend and take part in this celebration of faith, service, and unity.
