Upper Dublin Township has announced that renovations to the sport courts at Three Tuns Park in Ambler have begun.
On Sept. 30, crews started the project which is designed to refresh the playing surfaces and provide improved facilities for both tennis and pickleball players.
Once complete, the upgraded area will feature one dedicated tennis court and two dedicated pickleball courts, along with newly resurfaced courts to improve safety and playability. Township officials say the updates respond to the growing popularity of pickleball while ensuring that tennis remains part of the park’s offerings.
During construction, the tennis and pickleball courts at Three Tuns Park will be closed. No official completion date has been set, but the Township will announce updates through its website, social media, and email alerts as work progresses.
Three Tuns Park, located at 1548 Cooper Drive in Ambler, is a well-loved community hub, offering playgrounds, picnic areas, athletic fields, and sport courts. Township leaders note that these renovations are part of a broader effort to maintain and modernize recreational facilities so they can continue serving residents for years to come.
