“A Longwood Christmas” is underway and runs through Jan. 11 at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square. Guests step into a shimmering world inspired by the brilliance of gemstones and the magic of the holidays. There will be brilliantly decorated trees and more than a half-million lights.

Christmas in the Colonies
Christmas in the Colonies takes place Saturday at Graeme Park in Horsham, Montgomery County. In each room of the Keith House, costumed volunteers will present Christmas traditions brought to America by the various ethnic groups who settled in the area in Colonial times. The Tapestry Historic Dance Ensemble will be demonstrating in the parlor, and there will be chamber music in the Visitors’ Center. Complimentary cookies and hot chocolate will be served.
