Abington Township Police arrested a man after employees at the Rally House store in Willow Grove reported a retail theft in progress, according to police.

The incident occurred on Nov. 11, 2025, around 2:52 p.m. at Rally House, located at 2520 Moreland Road in Willow Grove.

Store employees told officers they watched a man, described as a Black male wearing a tan jacket and dark pants, select multiple items clearly marked for sale. According to staff, the man then walked out of the store without attempting to pay, passing all points of sale.

Officers searching the area found a man matching that description just moments later in front of Dick’s Sporting Goods in the same shopping center. Police detained him and identified him as Shiheem Young, 27, of Philadelphia.

Young was found carrying 10 stolen items valued at $366.93, all of which were recovered and returned to Rally House.

A check of Young’s criminal history revealed three prior retail theft convictions, classifying him as a repeat offender under Pennsylvania law.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
