Man shot, killed while sitting in car at gas station in Cedarbrook

Philadelphia police are searching for a masked gunman who fatally shot a 22-year-old man at a Cedarbrook gas station early Sunday morning.

The shooting occurred around 3:20 a.m. at the Liberty gas station on the 2500 block of West Cheltenham Avenue. Investigators say the victim was sitting in a car at a gas pump when a masked suspect opened fire, striking him multiple times.

Officers recovered ten shell casings at the scene. The victim was pronounced dead shortly afterward.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been announced.
