Upper Dublin High School has plenty to celebrate this fall! A total of 22 outstanding students have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program for their exceptional academic performance, an honor that places them among the brightest young scholars in the nation.
Of these honorees, seven students earned the prestigious title of National Merit Semifinalist, placing them in the top one percent of more than 1.3 million students who took the PSAT/NMSQT last year.
“We are delighted to celebrate our National Merit honorees,” said Dr. Laurie Smith, Superintendent of Schools. “Their remarkable achievements reflect both their dedication and ability, as well as the exceptional educational foundation provided by Upper Dublin Schools.”

The National Merit recognition is one of the most respected academic honors in the country, highlighting students who demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and writing skills. Many Semifinalists go on to compete for National Merit Scholarships, awarded each spring.
