Multiple fire companies called out to apartment fire at Elkins Park Gardens in Cheltenham Township, reports say

Multiple fire companies are fighting an apartment fire that broke out at Elkins Park Gardens,8000 High School Road, in Cheltenham Township on Thursday night, according to Montgomery County Dispatch.

Smoke in the basement of the complex and the smell of smoke coming from an apartment were reported at 9:13 p.m.

Crews from La Mott Fire Company, Elkins Park Fire Company, Cheltenham Fire Company, Rockledge Fire Company and Cheltenham Township Emergency Medical Service have been dispatched to the scene. 

Expect traffic delays in the area of the intersection of Montgomery Avenue and Church Road.
