Trash truck pulls down power lines in Abington Township

The incident occurred on the 1600 block of Coolidge Avenue

Residents and drivers should use precaution when in the area of Coolidge Avenue and Phipps Avenue for downed wires. 

A trash truck that was driving through a neighborhood on Thursday afternoon took down a handful of power lines at 1605 Coolidge Avenue around 2:20 p.m., according to Montgomery County Dispatch.

Emergency crews from Roslyn Fire Company are on scene assessing the situation.

Expect minor traffic delays if you are in the area.
