David Lyons, of Abington Township, faces multiple charges including Felony Sexual Abuse of Children, Invasion of Privacy, and Producing Obscene and Other Sexual Materials, after secretly recording a family undressing in a bathroom, according to the Abington Township Police Department.
Lyons was arrested by the Beach Haven (N.J.) Police Department on July 21, 2024, for recording a family member showering in an outdoor shower, according to police.

Through investigation, the Abington Township Police Department’s Special Victims Unit confirmed that Lyons secretly recorded a juvenile victim and an adult victim "in various stages of undress" in a bathroom at the Menlo Avenue residence on multiple occasions, according to police.
On March 26, 2025, Lyons turned himself into the Abington Township Police Department and was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Duffy.
Lyons was released after paying bail that was set at $10,000 cash.
