With the temperatures rising this week, to dangerous levels at peak times of the day, it is vital for everyone to keep cool and safe.
Many townships are opening up public spaces to its residents to offer some relief, whether that be providing indoor spaces with air conditioning, or charging stations for those who are still without power.
Abington Township officials have informed its residents that the Abington Free Library, 1030 Old York Road, and the Willow Grove Mall, 2500 Moreland Road, are available to use as cooling stations. Residents can also utilize these facilities as charging stations for those who may still be without power due to the weekend storm.
