Garlino Philogene, 35, of Landsdale, is facing multiple felony charges stemming from a physical dispute in Abington Township, according to police.
Police officers from Abington Township Police Department were dispatched to Abington Township on June 6 at 9:51 a.m. for a dispute involving a male with a knife, according to police.
The victim told police that a male, later identified as Philogene, was outside of the victim's apartment, but was actively trying to break the door down to regain entry into the apartment, according to police.
Earlier in the morning, according to the victim, an argument ensued between Philogene and the victim inside the apartment. Philogene threw the victim to the ground, causing back pain, and then placed the knife to their throat and threatened “to kill them,” according to police.
During the altercation, Philogene allegedly hit the victim in the face and caused injuries to their lip, according to police. Officers observed redness to the victim’s neck and a swollen, bloody lip, according to police.
Police officers were able to detain Philogene outside the apartment, and an officer located a silver knife hidden in some trash just outside the apartment door, according to police.
Philogene faces felony charges of aggravated assault and criminal trespass.
