The fifth annual Bucks-Mont PRIDE Festival is set to take place on Sunday, June 29 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Abington Art Center, located at 515 Meetinghouse Road in Jenkintown.

Organized by The Welcome Project PA, this free, indoor/outdoor event celebrates love, inclusion, and community, welcoming individuals of all ages and backgrounds. The Welcome Project PA is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational resources, support groups, social activities and events, advocacy, interfaith learning and cooperation, and LGBT+ friendly, trauma-informed therapy, healing, and counseling.

The festival boasts a dynamic lineup of performances and activities, including:

Jakeya Limitless: A Philadelphia native known for her alternative soul indie music, Jakeya brings over 25 years of experience as a singer, songwriter, and vocal coach. Her collaborations include artists like Jazmine Sullivan and Aloe Blacc. 

Yari: A drag performer and co-founder of Henn House Events, Yari is celebrated for her powerful vocals and storytelling through drag. Her name stands for "You. Are. Really. Incredible," embodying her message of empowerment. 

Positive Movement Drumline: This group focuses on inspiring youth and adults through drumming, promoting positive community messages and leadership. 

Invert Your World Studio: An award-winning yoga and fitness studio offering experiences that inspire and motivate, contributing to the festival's wellness offerings. 

DJ Triiish and Trixy Valentine: DJ Triiish is known for creating vibrant, inclusive atmospheres on the dance floor, while Trixy Valentine brings unmatched energy and inspiration as a seasoned drag performer and advocate. 


Festival-goers can enjoy a variety of local food vendors:

Philly Funnel Cake: Serving delicious funnel cakes, adding a sweet treat to the festivities.

Menagerie Foods LLC: A mobile catering service offering diverse food options, enhancing the culinary experience.

Ce-Ce’s Lemonade: Known for fresh, handcrafted lemonades, with 10% of profits supporting local organizations aiding the unsheltered community. 

The festival offers a range of family-friendly activities and community resources, including:

  • Community Resource Booths: Providing information and support for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies
  • Family-Friendly Activities: Engaging activities suitable for all ages, fostering an inclusive environment


The Abington Art Center is wheelchair accessible, and the event will occur rain or shine. Free parking is available at the art center, with additional parking at Acme Markets (323 Old York Road).

A wheelchair-accessible shuttle service will run every 20 minutes between Acme and the art center.
