Twice earning the prestigious title of All-American, Upper Moreland's Annalise Messina has firmly established herself among the elite in their sport, demonstrating exceptional talent, dedication, and consistency at the national level.

Rounding out her senior season this year, Messina has racked up more than 400 goals in her career.

Earlier this month, she helped lead the Golden Bears to a PIAA Class 2A first-round, double-overtime win (7-6) over Cardinal O'Hara. Upper Moreland suffered a defeat in the next round, 13-7, by Abington Heights.

According to USA Lacrosse, an All-American is a player who exhibits superior skills and techniques and possesses exceptional game sense and knowledge. A USA Lacrosse All-American is one of the best players within their respective area of the country, while also embodying excellent sportsmanship.

Messina has committed to Rutgers University where she will continue her lacrosse career.
