There is so much great outdoor activity in the Philadelphia region this week. Get out and enjoy some sun and fun.


The Doylestown Music Festival returns with a week of live music and a special Summer Night Block Party with DJ Batdan. Horsham is also hosting a night of fireworks and Lansdale is celebrating the start of summer with Lansdale Day festivities.


Don’t miss out on a nature adventure this week at the Perkiomen Creek Sojourn. But if communing with nature is not your thing, you can enjoy some fresh air and sun while shopping at the Jenkintown Spring Artisan Market.


In Philadelphia, the week is filled with live music including the New Constellations and Johnny Dynamite and the Bloodsuckers at Kung Fu Necktie, and in Ambler, you can catch some great comedy at The Lab


The Northeast Bunfest 2025 is a not-to-be missed event for animal lovers in Haverford. So don’t forget to hop on by and enjoy some fuzzy love.


 

Perkiomen Creek Sojourn 2025


On Saturday, June 7, 9:00 and 9:30 a.m., the Perkiomen Watershed is hosting its annual paddling adventure on the Perkiomen Creek.

The Perkiomen Creek Sojourn will take place in two waves at 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Test your stamina and make new friends as you paddle a ten-mile stretch of the Perkiomen Creek from Schwenksville to Hoy Park, Oaks.

Registration includes a boxed lunch from Kimberton Whole Foods, shuttle and guide support on the Creek.

Doylestown Music Festival


From Sunday, June 1 until Sunday, June 8, Doylestown will be celebrating grassroots music with its annual music festival.

The week-long festivities are designed to promote local and regional bands, musicians and businesses.

During the week, local restaurants, bars, shops and churches will be hosting talented artists. Venues will include Villa Capri, Puck Live, Chambers 19, Salem Church Youth Arts, Artifact Brewing and many more.

On Saturday, June 7th, the Doylestown Music Festival will host its signature event, Rock the Block Party.

Northeast Bunfest 2025


On Sunday, June 8, 10:00 a.m., the House Rabbity Society of Southeastern Pennsylvania is hosting its Northeast Bunfest 2025 at the Haverford Community Recreation & Environmental Center.

Calling all bunny lovers for a fun day of educational activities and shopping. There will also be non-rabbit themed vendors and rescues on hand that day too.

Surgical Humor at The Lab


On Sunday, June 1, 8:00 p.m., the Lab in Ambler is hosting a new comedy show, Surgical Humor.

The night will include both improv and stand-up comedy. It is BYOB so bring your favorite beverage and plan on laughing the night away.

The Surgical Humor Improv team includes Jess Paris, Dan Dipasquale, Chris Breiding, Elizabeth Gardner, Mary Keating and John Martin.

New Constellations at Kung Fu Necktie


On Saturday, June 7, 7:30 p.m., New Constellations and Johnny Dynamite and the Bloodsuckers will be rocking out Kung Fu Necktie in Fishtown, Philadelphia.

New Constellations are a Portland duo known for their celestial vocals and unique guitar hooks. Johnny Dynamite and the Bloodsuckers’ synth pop music is also a favorite with music lovers.

2025 Horsham’s Fireworks Show


On Saturday, June 8, 8 p.m., come out and enjoy fireworks at Deep Meadow Park in Horsham.

The night starts at 8 p.m. with special entertainment then afterwards at 9 p.m., fireworks will light up the sky.

Be sure to come hungry and come early. Vendors selling funnel cake, ice cream, smoothies and kettle corn will be setting up shop at 6 p.m.

Horsham Day 2025 has been canceled but the fireworks show is still on. Please note that there is no parking at Deep Meadow Park, but you can park at Horsham Municipal Complex, Carpenter Park (Horsham Road entrance), Kohler Park, Babylon Business Campus and Hatboro-Horsham High School.

2025 Lansdale Day


On Saturday, June 7, 10:00 a.m., Lansdale will be hosting its annual Lansdale Day.

The Lansdale Day Art & Craft Festival is organized by the Rotary Club of North Penn and will include a variety of live music, delicious food and plenty of shopping.

Jenkintown Spring Artisan Market


On Saturday, June 7, 11 a.m., the Jenkintown Night Market is hosting the Jenkintown Spring Artisan Market.

Spend the day of perusing the work of local artists and crafters while enjoying live music and good eats.
