The popular chain convenient store located 201 North York Road in Willow Grove, rated 4.1 out of 5 stars on Google Reviews, scored a perfect Montgomery County food safety inspection report last month.
Officials inspected the grounds on June 30 and found zero violations, which can sometimes be a rarity, especially for food chain stores. It received a report of “No out of compliance violations noted at time of inspection.”
The store received stellar scores on supervision, employee health, good hygiene practices, preventing contamination, safe food and water, food temperature control, clean utensils, equipment and vending, and others.
On a previous inspection report, performed on Nov. 9, 2024, officials responded to Wawa for a report of a fire in the rear food prep area. Minimal product damaged was suffered, any effected product was discarded by facility prior to EHS arrival, according to the report. The facility had permission to resume normal operations.
