A Willow Grove man turned himself in to authorities Thursday on charges related to alleged shoplifting of more than $1,500 in merchandise from Target on two occasions within four days.

Brett Robert Hendricks, 26, was charged by Warrington Township Police Jan. 6 with a felony count each of retail theft and receiving stolen property, according to court records.

According to police, management at Warrington Target at 401 Easton Road, told police that Hendricks removed merchandise from the store without paying on Dec. 30 and Jan. 3, 2025.

On Dec. 30, Hendricks allegedly selected $800 worth of merchandise and exited the store, and then allegedly did it again four days later, shoplifting $729.95 worth of items.

All in all, $1,529.93 worth of items were stolen, police said.

Hendricks is free on $20,000 unsecured bail and is banned from all Target stores, police said. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman.

The day prior to Warrington Police filing charging in its felony case, Hendricks was arrested, arraigned and released on $5,000 unsecured bail on misdemeanor shoplifting in Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
