A shooting has been reported in Abington Township Thursday late afternoon.
According to county dispatch, a call was received to 911 around 4:25 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16 for the call of a shooting in the area of Bradfield Road between Susquehanna Road and Woodland Road within the township. Dispatchers said that they could hear “arguing” and multiple parties involved.
In addition to Abington Township Police Department, units have been called to the scene from the Second Alarmers Rescue Squad among other first responders.
It is unclear if anyone has been injured in the incident. Early reports noted that a male yelled “someone shot.”
