Rescue squads are responding to a vehicle rescue midday on Thursday.
According to county dispatch, a vehicle has driven into the pond near the Willow Grove YMCA, which is located at 3300 Davisville Road, in Upper Moreland Township. Calls were received around 11:50 a.m. on Jan. 9.
By James Short The vehicle driver was reported as now being “out of the car” but not yet out of water, according to dispatch. Early reports stated that the vehicle is sinking into the water. The car’s make and model were not known to callers.
Current temperatures in Willow Grove are around 28 degrees presently, with an 18-mph wind. The “real feel” temperatures are around 14 degrees.
Called to the scene were units from Second Alarmers Rescue Squad, Hatboro Borough location on South York Road.
