Breaking: crews responding to multi-car accident, pedestrian struck, one person stuck in vehicle in Cheltenham

The incident occurred at Harrison Avenue and Limekiln Pike

Witnesses are reporting that a pedestrian has been struck and multiple vehicles are involved in a traffic collision near Harrison Avenue and Limekiln Pike in Cheltenham. 

According to eye witnesses, one vehicle is smoking while two or three other vehicles also are involved in the crash. 

Dispatch has confirmed that one person is trapped inside the vehicle. The situation has been upgraded to a vehicle rescue. 

Crews on scene include Community Ambulance Association of Ambler, Cheltenham Township Emergency Medical Services, Second Alarmers Rescue Squad, Weldon Fire Company, Wyndmoor Hose Company and Glenside Fire Company.
