Penn State Abington will host a Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention session, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18, in 112 Woodland Building, at Penn State Abington, 1600 Woodland Road.
The session, which is free and open to the public, is presented in partnership with Worthwhile, which provides services to survivors in Pennsylvania, and the FBI Human Trafficking Taskforce.
Experts from the two organizations will provide vital information about the realities of human trafficking, how it impacts our communities, and what citizens can do to prevent it. The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
