This month, Jenkintown is proving that Festivus for the rest of us isn’t just a holiday, it’s a full-blown cocktail crawl.
The third annual Festivus Cocktail Crawl is coming back on Sunday, Dec. 21, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., promising an afternoon of music, food, drinks, and holiday fun with a twist.
The event combines the spirit of Festivus from Seinfeld with a community, fun-filled cocktail crawl.
This year’s festivities include an Elaine dance-off contest and a Kramer entrance contest, giving participants a chance to show off their best Seinfeld-inspired moves. Traditional Feats of Strength competitions will also return, and winners will be awarded prizes. Over a dozen raffle baskets from local businesses will be available for bid, adding to the excitement.
The crawl is spread across several local bars and venues, creating a festive atmosphere where attendees can enjoy drinks, food, and music while participating in interactive contests. Past editions of the crawl have featured a Festivus pole, photo hunts, and quirky holiday-themed elements like an “Anti-Social Santa,” all designed to bring the community together in a playful, irreverent way.
Since its first edition in 2023, the Festivus Cocktail Crawl has grown into a Jenkintown tradition, blending humor, community spirit, and holiday cheer.
With contests, prizes, and over a dozen raffle baskets, the 2025 crawl promises to be bigger and more engaging than ever. Whether you’re a Seinfeld fan, a local cocktail enthusiast, or just looking for a fun way to celebrate the season, the Festivus Cocktail Crawl offers a festive, quirky alternative to the usual holiday gatherings.
