Abington Township Police Department (ATPD) is once again spreading holiday cheer with the return of its popular Shop with a Cop program.
Officials announced that the local tradition that pairs township police officers with children for a festive shopping experience at Willow Grove Park Mall will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
The program invites Abington children ages 7 to 14 to enter for a chance to win a shopping spree, which they will enjoy alongside an Abington police officer.
Entries are limited to one per child, and all participants must be residents of Abington Township. This year, 10 lucky winners will be awarded. The winners will be announced a week earlier during a live drawing on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 12 p.m.
The program is made possible due to sponsors: Macy’s, dlivrd.io, the Greco family, Citizens And Police Together, and Abington PAL.
Residents interested in entering can complete the official form to join the drawing. ATPD encourages families to participate and wishes all entrants the best of luck.
