Glenside is gearing up for one of its quirkiest holiday-season traditions: the 5th Annual Onesie Bar Crawl.
The fun-filled event returns on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025.
Since its start in 2021, the event has grown into a lighthearted local staple, known for drawing crowds of adults in cozy onesies to celebrate community, creativity, and a bit of silly fun.
Organizers say the original spirit remains the same: meet new friends, support local businesses, and enjoy a festive afternoon around town. And, of course, a onesie is required.
The crawl is pay-as-you-go and participants can move at their own pace, but the “Lucy Goosy” schedule offers a suggested route:
2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.: Roosters
3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.: The Ways
4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Roberts Block
5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: Glenside Pub & TreVi
6:30 p.m. to close: Bill’s Best Brewery — prizes awarded here!
After 10:00 p.m.: The Cork — because everyone knows how the night ends
Organizers emphasize the importance of responsible celebrating. The crawl is designed to be walkable, and attendees are strongly encouraged not to drink and drive.
There’s no official signup, but participants are encouraged to mark themselves as “Going” on the event page to help bars prepare for the turnout.
This year brings updated prize categories, both awarded at Bill’s Best:
To qualify, participants must visit all the “official” bars on the route. The organizer, self-described as “the jazziest rabbit in Glenside,” will handle check-ins.
